Why is sex still such a sensitive issue?

This is one of those topics that is not easily addressed. The times have changed but it still remains a hard subject.

It is true that at school they  teach them about it but the elders should also address it and give advice where needed. For how long are they to runaway from it? Until there is no more?

Children from as little as 12 are getting pregnant. It is a shame that we are still left in the dark by our elders thinking we are too young. They might say the are protecting us but not telling us about it makes it worse.

We are just the generation who wants to anything and everything. Our curiosity sometimes gets  out of hands. We want to try whatever. Safety is the last thing on our minds but then again when is it the right time to have the conversation.

Sex is something that everyone is going to go through whether they admit now or not. As much as there is the internet to give you answers your parents should also give you an idea on what is coming. They should guide you. Reading online does not always seem to help because some of the things we dont understand.

This is a topic that most of the teens have little knowledge of. Yes they give free condoms but do they also have in-depth of the topic to teens? This topic not being addressed leads to this unbeliavable teenage pregnancies and illegal arbortions.

The sooner the black community addresses this,the better it will be. Keeping something from a child makes it worse because they make mistakes. Mistakes that cant always be fixed. Sometimes you find that your child had intercouse with another and got infected. Arent you going to start blaming the child about not being safe? No one wants that to happen to their child. We as the black community should not shy away from this as it is getting worse not being adressed.

No child deserves to be a parent to another child in their teen years. There is internet but you should also talk to them. We are living in the times where everything is just happening fast and everyone needs to keep up.
