Trey Mash is a young vibrant upcoming musician and Marketing graduant  at (Vaal University Of Technology),He is signed under Marvel Ent.Born in Burgersfort which is located in Limpopo and raised in the deep dangerous city of Sunnyside located in Pretoria,Trey Mash is a commercial rapper who’s rap style deals mainly with mainstream Hip-Hop/Rap.

He began rapping In 2010 but he calls that the era “a practice run” mainly because he wasn’t releasing any music to the public, as he was still trying to perfect his art and learn more skills to accommodate his style.He began taking music seriously in 2013 in his first year in varsity when a friend Mash’B encouraged him to do so and that’s when he started releasing singles which eventually led up to his first mixtape titled “Angels In The City”, this mixtape and the singles got him recognized by many hip hop fans mainly from Pretoria. And that’s when he started working with an artist named MasterKay who got him his first ever radio airplay on Tshwane fm ,he started getting gigs and got more recognized as an artist.

He then elevated in 2015 when he released a single titled “Phakamisa” which got him his first ever 2000+ downloads in one night and he then decided to record his second mixtape titled “Phame” which was released in February 2015 and got him more recognition in Pretoria and certain parts of Limpopo and that led to him recording a remix to his hit single “Phakamisa ” which led to his first music video.

Early 2016 Trey Mash featured in newspapers such as Rekord newspaper and  The Voice Capricorn. This has brought him much attention and recognition from his hometown and other towns  such as bloemfontain and Polokwane. He recently released a follow up to his “Phame” mixtape  with a Ten track PROJECT titled “Money Over Phame”. The project is available as hardcopy.

Mid 2016 his Phakamisa Remix music video started getting airplay on  SABC1 Program named “Bona Retsang”,Where is the beef on Gauteng tv and also on Soweto tv  kasi vibes.His “Money Over Phame” single “Trap Gospel” featuring Mash’B is also getting radio airplay on Capricorn FM and other radio stations including the community radio stations such as VenRap radio and Energy FM.

He has performed at vaal triangle alongside Nasty C,during the month of September he performed alongside L tido,Brickz,Lerato Kganyakgo and etc.he also shared a  stage with Brazo Wa Afrika at Tubatse  Healthcare ,he ended the year at the grandfather of all parties  at Peter Mokaba stadium alongside Riky Rick and Emtee.His first Major gig of 2017 was the First Friday Celebration at Polokwane Rugby Stadium and he shared the stage with AKA,Cassper Nyovest,Nasty C,A-Reece,Babes   Wodumo,Kwesta,Riky Rick,Emtee,Major League and etc.
