Why is it that we can't respect our pockets?

You make a decent living but you just find a way to sabotage it. You make an honest living but feel like it is not enough. We need to start being realistic with our lifestyle choices as people. Buy what you can afford not what you long for.

You might think that you deserve all these things you want but you don't afford them. Our impatience is not doing any justice at all. It's ok to dream but it doesn't make it ok to force the material things to yourself. So you wana drive a brand new car that takes most of your salary and still manage to look good? That is impossible to do so. If we were mesnt to have everything we desire don't you think we would have those things.

We are not going to get everything we want without working a bit more. Dreams don't become a reality if you don't put it any effort at all. Sometimes it is a matter of the society. Because you work as something condisered higher you start to think everything else in your life should be of the same standard but that is not true. Pick your battles wisely. Trying to fit in the society won't get you anywhere. Plan things your way not around other people's expectations.

Trying to leave beyond your means will put so much pressure in you that you will turn to the illegal activities just to maintain it.

The more you spend, the more you get in trouble. You have to ask yourself if you truly need something or not. Don't make an expensive purchase that might get reposesed at some point because you can't afford to pay for it.

In life we don't always get what we long for and should respect that. Reality check is needed. We all should be enjoying live the way we can afford it. If we could all accept the way our lives are then we will definately live a more healthier life. Yes your co-worker drives a new car every 2 years so you think you should do the same, do you even afford to make it to the next month without borrowing money? If your answer is a no then leave that person alone. Everyone is on their journey so don't ever try to imitate what they are doing. Jealousy is a very powerful thing.

Be positive and ambitious. Don't over do it or you will live to regret it. The ones you were trying to impress won't be there to bail you out. Always do you. God created us differently with different journeys for each and everyone.
