Be ready for what you prayed for
Have you ever reached a point in your life where you just want change? You are just over the current state of your life.
Nothing ever prepares you about the sudden realization that you need to change. The stagnation is just something unbearable for you. It will definitely hit you at the most random times but when it does you should work on it.
There are things we do and try to shy away from but it never really works. We are just so worked up and in denial. After a certain point in your life you need to stop with the excuses.
We stop shying away from what we want. Deep down you know certain spaces are no longer good for you. We pray about it and some people go as far as fasting but the question remains are you ready for that?
Commitment at this point is not really the problem. You are just showing up in prayer without hesitation. It has even become a part of your lifestyle. You are praying.
Prayers take time but when they actually show up most people are not ready to accept the change they bring. We can address certain issues during prayer and not be ready for them to leave our lives.
You must be careful and mean it with what you want to achieve. We need to clean house every now and then. You can't be quoting Bible scriptures and self-help quotes but not putting in the work. Work together with the prayer. Show that you mean business and ready for change.
You can't change the next person but you can definitely change yourself. You must do the work. Don't pray but do the opposite in your waking life. If you want to move to better spaces you must show that you are willing.
Do not reject the opportunity because you are still comfortable in the same space you. You will be left behind. Focus on yourself and see how you grow and become better. Do some serious self development work on yourself. You will never know when will luck come knock at your door again.
Stay truthful to yourself. Don't over commit. It's human nature to want to be liked by the masses. You must be liked for the good you bring not the bad you tolerate. It's never too late to actually be alone. The right people will come along
